I give DSBible two thumbs up!

Quick update to version 2.51:

- Fixed a word wrapping bug where very long words would freeze DSbible when loading a book. (This affected at least the book of Revelation ("Offenbarung") in the German translation.)
- Included the Afrikaans language file in the main download.

Brother Jeremy,

Many thanks for your effort in creating DS Bible.

I am truely blessed by it. If possible, would you please include a feature: To have green text foreground colour and black background (probably some themes". I find that it is useful to read my NIV bible if i could look at the screen longer.

Yes, it is NIV version that i am reading:)

Congratulations man; love the DS Bible(and it's even better that spanish one!). How did you compile the verses? Are you directly copy/pasting from somewhere else, or typed by hand all of that?

Thanks Jeremy for your beautiful work

Can this work on the DSi?
Posted by jeremy Ruten on September 19th, 2009
Yep, you just need a DSi-compatible homebrew device. I hear DSbible works great with the Acekard 2i.

Thank you!

This happens when it can't find the data files. The ones inside the "bible" folder. Try as it might.

Make sure you copy the "bible" folder to your memory card. And don't put it into another folder. Just drop it in the main area of your memory card. Then everything's perfect.

Yes, one of the four translations is french - but the translator's name is LOUIS SEGOND, not "Second".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_Segond

It's a bit difficult to trust your bible text if even the spelling of a translator's name is wrong. -.-

Another thing, mor technical: The screen is still on after closing my DSi. Maybe this could get fixed in the future?

Thankyou for pointing that out. The guy who formatted the text for me spelled it that way. So sorry, I didn't know any better. :(

And yes, the screen going blank when closing the DS is a feature I never got around to. Unfortunately I've decided not to work on DSbible or any of my DS homebrew any longer.

This is a huge blessing to me - God Bless.

Well, this is pretty much awesome! I am very pleased with everything the DS Bible has to offer!

However, may I make a suggestion for the next update? It'd be nice to see the choice between the current window views and holding the DS sideways, like in dslibris. ^^"

Thanks for your hard work! Loves it. :>

- Luacs.

Please add a section to take notes.

it'd be deadly if there was a way to search for multiple terms, or a sentence, rather than it just looking for every text instance of a word.
still super awesome, though.

i put the rom on my ds and it loads but will not play the rom. does anyone know how to get it to actually work?
Posted by jeremy Ruten on May 5th, 2010
Hey,

Make sure to copy the 'bible' folder to your memory card as well as the rom. Put the 'bible' folder in the root of your memory card, i.e. not in any folder. It doesn't matter where you put the rom.

is very good but I have 2 problems there is no NIV version but I'll fix that myself. And when I look up words it only shows half the results maybe someone could fix it and show all results, other then that it is really good thank you to whoever made it!
