The only crazy people are the ones who decided to hide the library at the far end of a path that looks like something taken out of a “guess which number comes next” question at a Mensa test.

Oh, and I also think that ‘+1’ should be ‘+3’ to avoid negative-length strings, and ‘-1’ should be taken out to avoid unfair treatment of y and z.
