Hey, great. The RubyConf 2005 agenda is up. The most honorable A. Tanaka will be present to talk about his open-uri and K. Sasada will be reviewing his progress on YARV. I know my RedHanded compatriot Daigo will coming with Aoki, Maeda and Takahashi. Babie has a wedding. ;(
I won’t be speaking at the conference, but I will be playing at a club late Friday night. Call it an advantage to those who cannot foot the price of the compleat show.

I can clearly foresee an hackathon after rubyconf too add every kind of thing to open-uri, ldap,irc,ed2k and everything already available in kde’s kioslave and gnome’s vfs. But maybe I just need some sleep.

To echo Dan’s question: what club? Do we need to wear hipster western shirts with the perly snap buttons over 70’s era tight-fitting, faded, threadbare two-tone T-Shirts with our slightly-messy London haircuts to enter this club? Should we arrive in early 80’s vintage Volvo sedans painted either silver or gold or will Ruby-toned Pintos do? Should we pass out Pickaxe books as you sing or should we take a more postmodern narrative approach?
