Want to Help Translate the Ruby Site? #

by why in cult

Hey, a great thing about the new Ruby site is that its backend will let us offer accounts for translators. In fact, French and Spanish translations are underway. If you’d like a Ruby site for your nation, come pipe up on Vit-Discuss. (Right, John? That’s where they’d go?)

Update: Hungarian, German and Chinese translators are beginning to appear. We still need many, many more. If you have a local Ruby brigade, maybe bring this up at your meeting?

From Curt Hibbs:

Put together a team of volunteers who have committed to both making the original translation and maintaining the translated site as new content and news is added. To make this viable and sustainable effort you’d need at least three people who are willing to commit to working some amount of time each week.
