I’m getting “bad password” when I try to post winks, and the hoodwink login action gives me a 500 error. Something I’m doing?

I have screenshots !

I have cake! Okay, not really, but it would be neat if I did.

The login also gives me a 500. I’ve got the script installed under greasemonkey but I don’t see winks anywhere.

me too on the bad pass and 500s. atleast i can see the winks. word up to _why.

said on 23 Aug 2005 at 15:42

why, I can see the hoodwinks, but I can’t add to them because I can’t seem to get the signups to accept my u/n’s and p/w’s

In any case… you just melted my face off

said on 23 Aug 2005 at 16:05

Yeah, that was a padding bug.

said on 23 Aug 2005 at 16:16

now my password don’t work. Denied from the paradise of hoodwinking the world!

said on 23 Aug 2005 at 16:24

Ok, version 1.1 is up.

RE: Login problems. Please say if it’s on the hoodwink.d site or when pushing winks. Different mechanisms.

said on 23 Aug 2005 at 16:27

Am I supposed to get a page when I click on that link? Because I don’t get nuttin.

said on 23 Aug 2005 at 16:31

why, sorry about that. Basically, I had a working password, and now it fails for both the wink and the site. Just so you know.

said on 23 Aug 2005 at 17:17

Hmmm, I tried installing the new user script and now I can’t see any of the hoodwinks or nuttin’

I was having issue with login before, I’m not sure if the posts were working or not because I misunderstood what login was for, assuming that it was like a central authorization thing instead of just providing the user script.

Fixed!

Did hoodwink just go bye bye for anyone else?

said on 23 Aug 2005 at 20:14

Tried to hoodwink this:

Ah, thanks, that would explain the ISE ’s, thanks for the headsup.

Is there a useful way I could try and break hoodwink for you? I feel as though I’m just being whiny in the presence of a master.

You’re doing fine. Something on the server is being finnicky.

I’m having a cow. I haven’t got a moo what’s going on with this hoodwink deal. I just don’t get it. What is this all about? Cud someone please get off their grass and explain what this all means, so a moobie can understand? Not the technical problems, but the basic idea of what this is? If you would let me in on the joke, that would be bovine. I just can’t four stomach being in the dark.

(I guess I milked that theme for all it was worth. My brain is sore from all the lactic acid. Seriously, though: Wha-a-a-a-a???)

Like what I see and curious to see where it goes… keep it up why
